Is this a picture Lewis Carroll took or is that a photo of him? I wonder because there have been questions about his affection for young girls. But this picture is haunting. The man looks creepy and that little girl sure looks unhappy. And angry. And like she'd rather be anywhere else. Is it him? Or some other strange guy?

I think this might be Arthur Hughes (1832–1915) with his daughter Agnes (b. 1858), October 12, 1863. Hughes was a Pre-Raphaelite painter.
